Guiltless Arcade is a Skill With Prizes (SWP) platform operating under UK regulations. All competitions are determined entirely by skill — there are no random or chance-based elements that affect the outcome of any competition.

This is not gambling. Players compete in classic arcade games where the highest-scoring player wins. Every player in the same competition plays the identical level with the same conditions.

You must be 18 years or older to enter paid competitions. Age verification via government-issued ID is required before entering any paid pot or withdrawing winnings. Free play is available to all users.

Players use credits — purchased with a UK debit card or earned free (see section 5) — to enter time-limited competitions (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). Each competition period, all entrants play the same seeded level — identical obstacle layouts, piece sequences, and enemy positions for every player.

At the end of each period, prizes are distributed to the top scorers. If a competition does not reach the minimum number of entrants, all entry fees are refunded in full.

Entry fees are clearly displayed before entering any competition. There are no hidden charges. The prize pool is funded entirely by entry fees, with a transparent platform fee deducted. Prize splits are shown before entry.

Challenge entry fees are capped at a maximum of 20 credits (approximately £4). Users may set their own maximum entry fee in their profile settings.

No purchase is necessary to enter our prize competitions. Free credits — which can be used to enter any paid prize pot on identical terms to purchased credits — are available to every player through the following routes:

(a) Daily step challenge — reach 10,000 steps using the in-app step tracker to earn one free credit per day. (b) Refer a friend — both you and your referred friend receive free credits when they play. In addition, every game can be played completely free at any time, with the full game experience, without entering a prize competition.

To keep competitions fair and winnable for all players, entry limits apply to consistently dominant players on a per-game basis. Where a player's win rate (first-place finishes divided by completed paid pots entered in that game over a rolling 7-day window, with a minimum of 3 completed pots) reaches set thresholds, the number of entries they may submit into weekly, bi-weekly and monthly prize pots for that game is capped (for example, a 100% win rate limits the player to 1 entry per pot; 80% to 2; 60% to 3; 40% to 10). Daily pots are unaffected. These limits are applied automatically by objective criteria, apply equally to all players, and do not affect winnings already earned or the ability to withdraw them.

New Player Arena — accounts in their first 14 days may additionally enter dedicated weekly "New Player Arena" pots, open only to other new players. Standard entry fees, minimum-player rules and refund rules apply. After 14 days, players graduate to the regular pots only.

Free credits entered into a pot carry exactly the same prize eligibility as purchased credits.

All scores are validated server-side. Automated play detection, score anomaly detection, and replay verification are used to ensure fair competition. Any player found cheating will be permanently banned and forfeit any winnings.

The seeded random number generator ensures every player in the same competition faces identical conditions. This system is auditable and deterministic.

Prize winnings are held in your prize wallet and are paid back to the UK debit card you deposited with, processed securely by our FCA-authorised payment provider, Trust Payments Ltd. Most banks show the money within minutes; some take up to 3 working days. Minimum withdrawal amount applies.

Guiltless Arcade reserves the right to verify identity before processing withdrawals.

Credits are non-refundable once used to enter a competition. Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase by contacting support. If a competition does not meet the minimum player threshold, entry fees are automatically returned.

All monetary refunds are processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase. We do not issue site credits, vouchers or any other form of store credit in place of a refund.

What they are. G-Credits ("G") are a closed-loop virtual currency used only in the Arcade Shop to obtain cosmetic items (skins, characters, name tags), Player Build skill points and merchandise. 500 G is presented as equivalent to £1 for pricing display only.

No cash value. G-Credits have no monetary value, are not a prize, cannot be exchanged for money or prize winnings, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, sold or gifted, and cannot be used to enter any prize competition. G-Credits are one-way: they may be purchased or earned but never converted back to cash, prize balance or competition credits.

Earning and buying. G-Credits may be earned by playing (for example a small award per free or paid game, or a bonus on a pot win) or purchased in packs by UK debit card (website) or via Apple In-App Purchase (iOS app). Purchases count towards your monthly spend limit and require age verification. Pack prices include VAT.

Digital content — cancellation. G-Credit packs are digital content supplied immediately. By ticking the confirmation at checkout you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ends once the credits are added to your account. Purchases made through Apple are subject to Apple's refund process. Where a purchase is refunded, the corresponding G-Credits (and any items bought with them) may be removed.

Changes and expiry. We may change G-Credit prices, earning rates and the shop catalogue at any time. G-Credits are forfeited on account closure or permanent ban for cheating and may be removed if obtained through error, fraud or abuse. We may retire the G-Credit programme with 30 days' notice, during which you may spend any remaining balance.

Nothing sold in the Arcade Shop affects the outcome of a prize competition. Skins, name tags and character appearances are purely cosmetic.

Characters. Four base characters are free to every player and each represents one of four balanced archetypes (Balanced, Speedster, Tank, Scorer). Unlockable characters are alternative appearances only: in every paid competition an unlockable character plays with exactly the same statistics as its free archetype, so no player can buy an advantage over another. Its unique flavour statistics apply in Free Play only.

Player Build. Skill points (Lives, Speed, Fire Power, Score) can be earned by levelling up or purchased with G-Credits. Player Build applies to Free Play only. When you enter any prize competition, all Player Build points are disabled and every entrant plays under identical base conditions. Free Play carries no entry fee and awards no cash prize.

Any in-game hint describing a "best build" refers to Free Play only and never to paid competitions.

Physical merchandise in the Arcade Shop is paid for in G-Credits and delivered to UK addresses only. You have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel and return them for a full refund of the G-Credits paid; return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or not as described. Faulty goods are handled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Dispatch is typically within 5–10 working days.

Players may take a break from paid competitions at any time via their Profile settings. Two options are available: a Pause (7, 14 or 30 days) for a short cooling-off period, or Self-Exclusion for a minimum of 6 months (or 12 months). During any pause or self-exclusion you cannot enter paid competitions or challenges, and during self-exclusion you will not receive marketing communications. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed early. You can still play all games for free at any time.

If you have a complaint about a competition result, score, or payout, please contact us at chris@guiltlessarcade.com. We aim to resolve all complaints within 7 business days.

If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
