Official Competition Rules

To enter any prize competition on Guiltless Arcade, you must:

• Be aged 18 years or older;
• Be a resident of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland);
• Have completed the on-account age verification check;
• Not be self-excluded, on the Gamban/GamStop registry (voluntary), or previously banned from the platform.

Employees of CB Project Solutions Ltd and their immediate families are not eligible to enter paid prize competitions.

• Standard entry fee: 20p (£0.20) per competition attempt (denominated as 1 “credit” in the app; 1 credit = 20p GBP).
• Maximum entry fee: Challenge competitions are capped at 20 credits (approximately £4.00).
• Your in-app balance is held in GBP, deposited via a regulated UK acquiring bank (Trust Payments Ltd) using a fully hosted payment page, and is withdrawable to your UK bank card as real cash at any time (subject to the withdrawal limits in section 6). Balance is not a virtual game currency and can only be used to pay competition entry fees.
• All prices are in GBP (£). No foreign currency conversion applies.

A free-play mode is permanently available for every game on the platform, with unlimited attempts and no purchase required. Free-play scores do not enter paid prize competitions, but the free mode allows every user to practise all 20 games without spending any money.

Additionally, competitions running below the minimum entrant threshold are refunded in full (see section 7).

Guiltless Arcade is a Skill With Prizes (SWP) platform. Winners are determined solely by player skill — reflexes, strategy, planning, and hand-eye coordination. There is zero randomness or chance in who wins.

• Identical seeded levels: Every player in the same competition period plays the exact same level. A cryptographic seed unique to the competition period generates the identical piece sequence, obstacle layout, enemy positions, and card arrangement for every entrant.
• Best-of-attempts scoring: Within the competition window, only your single highest score counts toward the leaderboard.
• Server-side validation: All scores are validated on our servers against impossible thresholds, timing anomalies, and automated play patterns. Suspicious scores are flagged and reviewed before prizes are awarded.
• Tie-break: If two or more players tie on final score, the earliest submitted qualifying score wins.

75% of every entry fee is paid out to players as prizes. The remaining 25% covers platform operating costs, payment processing, and prize seeding for future pots.

Standard prize split by finishing position:

• 1st place: 35% of the prize pool
• 2nd place: 15% of the prize pool
• 3rd place: 5% of the prize pool
• 4th – 23rd place: 20% of the prize pool, distributed on a sliding scale

The exact prize pool size, current number of entrants, entry fee, and prize split percentages are displayed on every pot selector inside the app before you commit to entering. Prize seeding (“house money”) may be added to individual pots at the operator’s discretion and is disclosed on the pot selector when applied.

• Prize distribution: When a competition period ends, prizes are calculated and paid instantly to each winner’s in-app Prize Wallet.
• Notification: Winners are notified via push notification, in-app notification, and email.
• Withdrawals: Prize Wallet balance can be withdrawn to your UK debit or credit card (the same card used for deposit) at any time, subject to a £1.00 minimum.
• Withdrawal cap: A maximum of £150 may be withdrawn per rolling 4-day period. This cap protects players and complies with our responsible-play commitments. Balances above the cap remain in your Prize Wallet and can be withdrawn once the rolling window resets.
• Processing time: Withdrawals are typically processed within 1–3 UK banking days. Larger or unusual withdrawals may require additional identity verification.

Every prize competition has a published minimum-entrant threshold, displayed on the pot selector. If a competition does not reach its minimum entrant count by the close of the competition window:

• The competition is voided;
• 100% of every entry fee is refunded automatically to each entrant’s Credit Wallet;
• No prizes are awarded, and no fees are retained by the operator.

Refund processing is automatic and typically completes within minutes of the competition window closing.

Attempts to manipulate scores, use bots, automated input, memory editing, network manipulation, or multiple accounts to enter a single competition will result in:

• Immediate disqualification from the affected competition (no refund);
• Forfeiture of any pending prize awards;
• Permanent account ban and forfeiture of Prize Wallet balance.

Disputes must be raised via chris@guiltlessarcade.com within 14 days of the competition result.

• Regulatory classification: Guiltless Arcade is a Skill With Prizes (SWP) platform operated under UK consumer-protection law. Because prize outcomes are determined solely by player skill and not by chance, the platform is not a gambling service under the Gambling Act 2005 and does not require a licence from the UK Gambling Commission. Legal opinion supporting this classification is on file and available on request.
• Payment services: All card transactions are processed by Trust Payments Ltd (a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant UK acquiring bank) via fully hosted payment pages. Guiltless Arcade does not store, process, or transmit cardholder data at any time.
• Governing law: These rules are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
